A windsock is not just that, you need to know a little more about the components and utilities to be able to decide which one to buy.

TAMAÑO
SIZE
Usually the first part of the specification is quoted. WHAT SIZE DO YOU NEED? Already have a mast? Then the size should fit the mast of the windsock
COLOR
COLOR
The windsock in the US, UK and outside of Europe is usually fluorescent orange, on the European mainland it is often striped (red/white, orange/white)
CLOTH
Standard windsocks are made from polyester which is generally superior to nylon when used in this application. Nylon was used many years ago and is still specified by some buyers, but in general polyester, for windsocks, is the best fabric.

SETTINGS
There are 2 popular fit styles:
1. Windsock with a loop sewn into the mouth and a four-way harness with a swivel shackle that attaches to the end of the swivel arm.
2. Windsock equipped with a grommet band which fits over your existing swing frame
